Description: Full scholarship for Masters and Postgraduates focusing on Artificial Intelligence in the UAE

The Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), the world’s first AI-focused research institute, was established in Abu Dhabi in 2020. The university offers Masters and Postgraduates programs focused on computer vision, machine learning, and natural language processing. 

All enrolled students are granted scholarship for all years of study. It covers education, accommodation, and meal expenses, and also flights and medical insurance. The university campus is situated in Masdar city in Anu Shabi, the world’s first “eco city” meaning it has a zero carbon footprint.

The candidates have to pass TOEFL or IELTS, write a research project proposal, provide a motivation letter and recommendations. Within a month the university will examine the applications and contact the chosen candidates.

Description: Master’s scholarships in France 

Eligible: Bachelors aged 30 and under 

How to obtain: enrol to a Master’s programme of Université Paris-Saclay in Paris for the 2021/2022 academic year; scholarship recipients are chosen from among the students 

Deadline: 16 May, 2021

Université Paris-Saclay in Paris offers a EUR 10 000 scholarship for ten months, or a lump sum grant for payment of visa and transportation expenses in the amount of EUR 1000 to MAster’s degree students. After enrolment to the magistrature, the candidates are selected in three stages, and the chosen candidates receive a link for submitting an application via e-mail. The university offers programs in English and French languages . 

Some of the requirements — have a command of French at least at a B1 level, not to receive other scholarships exceeding EUR 600 per month, and reside outside of France (languages courses students and short-term internship programs participants may apply). 

Description: Scholarship creative residence Einstein Fellowship in Germany for young research workers 

Eligible: young researchers in the field of humanities, social sciences, or natural sciences aged under 35 

How to obtain: envisage a research project in a sphere that is new to you, and send its description together with a resume to You will also need to ask someone to write letters of recommendation.

Einstein Forum together with Daimler and Benz Foundation endeavour to offer support to young researchers who think out of the box and wish to expand their academic boundaries.  Einstein Fellowship candidates need to submit applications for an interdisciplinary research project. 

The chosen candidates will be invited to spend five or six months in the Albert Einstein’s summer residence in the town of Caputh, one hour drive away from  Berlin. They will also receive a EUR 10 000 grant and compensation for travel expenses . 

The project is scheduled for summer 2022. You will need excellent command of English, a higher education diploma, and to be ready to present your work results to the Einstein Forum participants.

University of Leeds Faculty of Biological Sciences offers full scholarships in 2021 for Biology Masters who chose the Precision Medicine: Genomics and Analytics program. Citizens of any country may apply. Four successful candidates will receive full coverage of their education (£11 750), and £15 285  for accommodation expenses. 

The scholarship is provided with financial support of Health Data Research UK, and awarded for academic merits. Selection results will be announced in July 2021. 

Description: Internship with Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Rome

Eligible: students and fresh graduates aged 21 to 30 years

Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is a UN project aimed at defeating hunger worldwide. If you are interested in food security and sustainable development issues, and are eager to gain experience working with the UN, this is an opportunity for you!  

Interns will work three to eleven months in the organization HQ in Rome. Particular project topic will depend on your interests and experience. This internship requires excellent English and teamwork skills.
